Sozo good2eat, Antrim Road, Belfast

This is the second Sozo project we have worked on, opening on the Antrim Road in Belfast..  We also supplied Weathered Oak and Distillery Board for cladding, created the round tables as well as the long sharing table, surround by the theater seats we supplied which have been re upholstered.

We were tasked with creating 2 unique chandeliers for the latest Sozo restaurant opening in Belfast.  The idea was to use the 800 marmalade bottles we have as part of this! The bottles are 1920 diabetic marmalade bottles from Cooperation Street, Belfast.  As the guys in the restaurant set about washing each and every bottle, we created the frames and light bulb holders placed in such a way to make the most of the concept. Steel supports were added to be bolted to the roof in order to hold the chandeliers; as you can imagine they are very heavy! This is just an example of the many bespoke pieces we create here at E& A.
